Today I accidentally spilled a drink on a customer, I was having a bad day and was on the verge of tears already. This woman refused to let me go to my manager to get her anything extra or for free, she helped me clean the mess up off of the table and the floor even after I asked her not to, I was flustered and she was very kind to me. She left me a ten dollar tip! Then she stayed around until my shift was over and when I went outside to wait for my ride, she stopped me and said “Tomorrow is going to be a new day, you’re doing a great job and tomorrow you’re going to do even better.” Then she hugged me and left and I cried in my car for twenty minutes. In my three years of waitressing, no one has ever been that kind to me.
